Worship Leader, Laurie Ketcham

Thank you for having a sincere desire to draw closer to God and to help others experience the same. Praise and worship is a great tool that God allows us to use to worship and commune with Him. It is most powerful when all who worship together are of one mind and one spirit. As we unite in one accord to worship I pray that God will manifest Himself at each and every meeting time. The Bible says in II Chronicles 5:13 “when the trumpeters and singers were joined together in unison making one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord….then was the house filled with a cloud so that the priest could not stand to minister.”  As we practice, praise and pray together our hearts will continue to become knit together in one accord. Eph 4:3 says “Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep harmony and oneness of the spirit in the binding power of peace.”

One of my favorite scriptures is Judges 6:34…”But the spirit of the Lord clothed Gideon with Himself and took possession of him and he blew a trumpet.” I believe that when we worship we should be clothed and possessed with the spirit of God Himself! He should always be in control.

I would like to encourage you as we work together to bring down the glory of God; never let the cares of this world stifle your praise. Walk above the circumstances of this world and let your faith and hope always rest in God as we bring honor and glory to His name.

Personal note:         

Randy and Laurie Ketcham have been married for 5 1/2 years. They have two beautiful children, Thomas (4) and Elizabeth (2). Randy  attended Bible College and earned his education in Pastoral Studies. Randy has worked as a full time Youth and Associate Pastor, Outreach Director, Singles and Prison Pastor and Senior Pastor. On the worship team at Abundant Life Randy serves as the exhorter who opens each service and he also plays the bass, drums and sings. 

 Laurie has also attended Bible college and has worked as a Worship Music Arranger and Worship Leader. She serves as the Worship Leader/Choir Director at Abundant Life. Laurie plays the keyboard, sings and plays trumpet as well. She enjoys teaching music to children and adults and has a desire to see all those around her develop a stronger relationship with God through the power of praise and worship and prayer.

Our Schedule:

Sunday

Sunday 8:30AM-9:30AM        Practice and run through of praise service list & offering song

Sunday 9:50AM                      Prayer room for prayer

 Wednesday

Wednesday 6:45PM (The Youth Band does the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month)    Run through and sound check (musicians + Laurie only)

Wednesday 6:55PM    Prayer room for prayer

 Saturday
